I’ve been occupied for the past several months editing my short stories and submitting them to various venues for publication. I’ve been fortunate to have had quite a few accepted, both on online magazines and in anthologies.
The Anthology “A New York State of Crime,” created by the Tristate Chapter of Sisters in Crime has just been published. It contains my short story “Back to the Bronx.” I had a chance to read it on my recent flight to New York, and the stories are first-rate. I felt honored to be included.
My short story, The Standard Model, was just published on Fiction on the Web
It’s a time travel tale in which a physics professor, obsessed with Renaissance art and French cuisine travels to Paris to test the limits of her latest research.
Six additional short stories are available on
Short-Story.Me
In Moonlighting, a medical student uses illegal means to obtain tuition money.
The Food Police is the tale of a teenager apprehended for the illegal manufacture and sale of ice cream.
In The Secondhand Store, a mother receives a supernatural message from her daughter at college.
Generations, The Last Summer, and Brotherhood
are memoir stories of growing up in New York.
Finally, my short story A Thesis on Murder was accepted to the Los Angeles Sisters in Crime Anthology Angel City Beat. It’s coming out this December. Stay tuned.
